Rebuka is an independent campus marketplace for EPFL and UNIL students in Lausanne, plus EPFL students in Geneva, Fribourg, Neuchatel and Valais/Sion.
Listings, prices, pickup, delivery, and payment are arranged directly between users unless Rebuka explicitly states otherwise.
Rebuka verification and inspection
Rebuka verification helps buyers understand how much checking was done before a listing is marked by Rebuka.
Basic check
Seller/student identity is confirmed where possible and the listing is reviewed for completeness and obvious inconsistencies.
Inspected
Rebuka has seen the item and checked that photos, description, condition, accessories, and key details match the listing.
Guaranteed
This is the strongest Rebuka verification level. Buyer support is included if the item materially does not match the verified listing.
Buyer support
Buyer support can include reviewing the verified listing, contacting the seller, and helping both sides find a fair correction where feasible.
What is not included
Verification does not cover normal wear that was shown or described, changes after verification, buyer preference, compatibility questions, misuse after pickup or delivery, or problems caused by third-party payment or shipping services.
Buyer-requested inspection
A Rebuka inspection requested with a buy request is a check for that purchase. The inspection fee applies only if the item matches the listing.
